Minimum subsistence budget going up in Belarus as from May 1

Traditionally, social pensions, surcharges and allowances grow with the increase in the minimum subsistence budget. Thus, the monthly supplement to pensions for non-working citizens aged 75 to 80 years will amount to Br78.5, while at the age of 80 and older with the allowance for care will stand at Br157. Allowances for children will also grow. Thus, in connection with the birth of the first child the payment will amount to Br4 thousand 187. At the birth of the second and subsequent it’s Br5 thousand 862.
