Minsk hosting 2nd Belarusian-Russian Tourism Congress
Among the participants are representatives of government and business from the two countries. They are discussing harmonization of legislation and further development of the tourism industry of the Union State. Experts advocate the development of organized tourism, which will make both holidaymakers and tour operators feel more comfortable and safe. Belarusians and Russians enjoy visiting each other. Every year tourist flows increase. Thus, in 2023, our country was visited by more than 5 million Russians, and the number of organized tourists amounted to 223 thousand. One of the priority areas of tourism development within the Union State is ensuring better transport accessibility. There will also be more new Union State tourist routes. Minsk and Moscow have ratified an agreement on mutual recognition of visas. Now the agencies concerned are working out the technical nuances. Thus, having obtained a visa to Russia, tourists will be allowed to travel to Belarus as well, and vice versa.
