Minsk hosting Union State Supreme State Council meeting

The agenda of today"s meeting of the Union State Supreme State Council consists of over ten issues related to Union State activities with a focus on the situation in the economy, as well as cooperation in the finance and energy sectors. Besides, Presidents Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin are planned to consider topical international issues.
One of the main aims of the Union State Supreme State Council meeting is to approve the Union State"s budget for 2016. 6.6 billion Russian rubles are expected to be allocated to the Union State budget, a significant part of this which will go to finance seven Union State programmes.
