Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine scheduled to meet in Minsk today

Minsk hosted a meeting of the political subgroup yesterday. This year"s first meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine is expected to take place today in Minsk. The main issues on the agenda are Donbas" special status, holding local elections in the region in accordance with Ukrainian legislation and implementing other provisions of theMinsk agreements. Yesterday,Minsk hosted a meeting of the political subgroup.
The deadline for implementing the Minsk Agreement was previously extended by Normandy Four leaders till 2016.
