Vladimir Semashko appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Russia

Vladimir Semashko has been appointed Ambassador of Belarus to Russia. The corresponding personnel decision was made by the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko. As First Deputy Prime Minister, Vladimir Semashko oversaw the industrial sector and the fuel and energy complex. By the decision of the President, he will now also be the plenipotentiary representative of Belarus to the CIS Economic Council and the CSTO, special representative of Belarus for integration cooperation within the framework of the Union State, the EAEU, the CIS, the CSTO. The Head of State also appointed new ambassadors of Belarus to Hungary, Syria and India and agreed to the appointment of a number of new heads of local administrations and enterprises.
