Vladimir Andreichenko elected Chairman of House of Representatives of 6th convocation

His candidacy for the post of speaker was supported by an absolute majority: only one person of 110 deputies was against his candidacy. The speaker set the task to obtain the observer status in the Baltic Sea Parliamentary Conference and to intensify cooperation with the PACE. 14 permanent commissions have been formed in the current convocation. Their members and leaders will be elected on Thursday.
