Belarusian Foreign Minister holds bilateral meetings at 71st UN General Assembly session

Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei has met with the President of the UN General Assembly at the 71st session of the General Assembly. Peter Thomson has praised the contribution of Belarus to the Organization. He emphasizes the honorable principles that Minsk has consistently advocated for in the organization. Vladimir Makei has also met with his counterpart from Oman. The Ministers have discussed the exchange of visits at the highest levels and expressed interest in further strengthening of relations between the two countries. At the talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics the sides stated the positive dynamics of development of the whole complex of bilateral relations. Special attention of foreign ministers was paid to the development of the EU-Belarus dialogue.
