Mogilev hosts session of Union State Council of Ministers

Meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State takes place in Mogilev. It was preceded by a meeting of heads of governments of Russia and Belarus Andrei Kobyakov and Dmitry Medvedev. Then the negotiations were joined by foreign ministers, ministers of economy and finance, heads of branch administrations. The agenda includes 27 questions. The focus of attention is on trade and economic relations. The goal is to create additional conditions for their development. Forecast balances were discussed concerning the supply and demand for key products this year.
The meeting also reviewed the draft of new scientific programs of the Union State in genetics, medicine, nanotechnology and hydrometeorological safety.
