Minsk to host negotiations on Ukrainian conflict settlement today

As confirmed by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, negotiations on Donbas will be held today in Minsk"s President-Hotel. The participants are planned to discuss the political, economic and humanitarian aspects of a peaceful settlement of the Donbas conflict, as well as security issues, with particular attention to be paid to prisoner exchange. Thematic subgroups will continue discussing the agenda that has been followed for several rounds.
The Contact Group has recently managed to move forward in addressing a number of issues of the Donbas conflict settlement, a landmark event being the signing of the agreement to withdraw weapons under 100 mm in caliber, mortars and tanks from the demarcation line.
