Cooperation in framework of UN, EU and Council of Europe discussed at board of Foreign Ministries of Belarus and Russia

Cooperation within the UN system, the EU and the Council of Europe became the main topics at the meeting of Foreign Ministries of Belarus and Russia. According to head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Vladimir Makei, the foreign policy approaches of Russia and Belarus agree on almost all issues. In particular, the parties intend to build long-term integration of the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union. Another vector involves integration into the economic belt of the Silk Road. The parties have signed a decree of boards of Foreign Ministries of Belarus and Russia and a plan of ministerial consultations.
