Islamabad hosts talks between Belarusian President and Prime Minister of Pakistan

Belarus" President Alexander Lukashenko and Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif have confirmed the countries" intention to deepen friendly ties in various spheres. Belarus and Pakistan will be actively developing regional cooperation, as outlined in a joint statement adopted after the official negotiations. The parties are interested in developing mutually beneficial relations between branch-specific ministries, intensifying direct contacts at the level of small and medium businesses and setting up joint agriculture, consumer industry, pharmaceutical industry and forestry enterprises. Besides, Belarus and Pakistan have agreed to continue mutual support in the international arena.
