Election campaign discussed in detail at President's working meetings

The parliamentary elections in Belarus took place in a calm atmosphere, as stated by President Alexander Lukashenko at today"s meeting with Head of the Presidential Administration Alexander Kosinets in the Palace of Independence. According to Alexander Kosinets, the elections were held in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus. The parliamentary elections were held in all the 110 constituencies, none of them being uncontested for the first time. Voter turnout made up 74.8%, 484 candidates claiming 110 Parliament seats.
