Scientific workshop Belarus in Context of Global Social and Political Trends held in Gomel

Less than a month is left till the important political event. Each region is actively preparing for the 5th Belarusian People"s Assembly.
More than 130 ideologists, journalists, government officials and academics gathered in Gomel. Scientific workshop Belarus in the Context of Global Social and Political Trends was held there. The participants discussed the political, cultural and economic processes in the world and highlighted the state"s role in preservation of sovereignty and the model of development. In addition, the event was attended by the delegates who will represent the region at the 5th All-Belarusian People"s Assembly.The large-scale assembly will gather 2.5 thousand delegates from all over the country. Minsk will be represented by 400 people. Minsk delegates have adopted a resolution on the results of work of the City Assembly.
