Bishkek hosting SCO Council of Heads of Government

Bishkek is currently hosting an expanded meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. The key negotiation topics are deepening trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation and countering terrorism, as well as the implementation of the agreements reached by the Heads of State during the June summit in Tashkent. The event was attended by President Alexander Lukashenko. It was then that Belarus received the SCO observer status.Today"s meeting is expected to result in the signing of outcome documents.
