Belarus completes registration of candidates for deputies of House of Representatives of National Assembly

Registration of candidates for deputies has been completed in Belarus today. The exact number of candidates to the Parliament will be known a few days later. Immediately after the registration, candidates for a seat in the parliament have the right to use proxies (up to 15 people) to start campaigning. The candidate shall have the right to determine the form, contents and the type of the pre-election campaign, while complying with the requirements of the legislation on elections, public events and media. More than 300 foreign observers have been accredited to monitor the parliamentary elections to be held on September, 11.
