446 initiative groups for parliamentary candidate nomination registered in Belarus

The deadline for submitting applications for registering initiative groups to nominate parliamentary candidates has passed. In total, district commissions have received 479 sets of documents. 446 initiative groups have been registered. About 35% of them are from political parties, the rest will be representing non-party candidates. The most groups were registered inMinskand least in theVitebskregion. 6,018 polling stations have been established in all regions of the country and abroad.
