521 parliamentary candidates registered in Belarus

The names of all parliamentary candidates have been announced in Belarus. A total of 521 people have been registered, 93 have been rejected. According to Central Election Commission Head Lidia Yermoshina, the number of denials has decreased by 10% during the current election campaign, compared to last year"s.The names of the registered candidates will be available on the website of the Central Election Commission and in the media.Starting today, the candidates can start campaigning. The registered candidates have the right to open personal accounts. Funds can be formed at the expense of the candidates" own assets, as well as voluntary donations from Belarusian citizens and legal entities.
