Meeting of Supreme Eurasian Economic Council held in Astana

The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council has finished in Astana. It was held with participation of the leaders of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. As stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko the EAEU needs to create its own highly effective market for cooperation with external partners. Most of the questions on the agenda concerned the place of the EAEU in the world economic system. Five leaders discussed cooperation with the EU, SCO and ASEAN. Today, the parties agreed on the concept of forming a single oil and gas market. As a result the parties signed a number of international documents.
