The Union State is gaining momentum, which meets the demand of the peoples of Belarus and Russia

Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin announced this in Moscow at a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State. In 2025, foreign trade turnover between Belarus and Russia increased by 5.6%. The meeting's extensive agenda reflects both countries' interest in deepening cooperation and finding solutions to emerging issues, as well as creating new growth areas for the benefit of our states and peoples, the Prime Minister noted. The meeting's agenda includes a discussion of key areas for implementing the provisions of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State and the results of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Russia.
