The Prime Minister of Belarus arrived on an official visit to Russia
During his talks with the head of the Russian government Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of Belarus Aleksandr Turchin stated the priority and long-term nature of the strategic partnership. According to him, a characteristic feature of the relationship between the countries and peoples is that the leadership of Belarus traditionally pays its first visits to Russia after the election or after the appointment. Aleksandr Turchin stated that Russia is the main trading partner for Belarus, while last year the record figures of mutual trade turnover were achieved. The two countries pay special attention to the development of humanitarian cooperation and personnel training. They are also discussing joint events for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
