The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus has protested in connection with the violation of the state border
On 1 December, the Chargé d'Affaires of Lithuania was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. He was handed a protest note in connection with the violation of the state border of Belarus by an unmanned aircraft with a wingspan of 1.5 m: a drone that was launched the day before from the territory of a neighboring state and crashed within the city of Grodno. The UAV was equipped with modern equipment: navigation systems, a video camera and two memory cards of 32 GB each. The data analysis provided comprehensive information. The flight lasted almost 3 hours. The route of the Western European-made drone involved flying over the territory of Belarus, reaching Poland and returning along the same route to the take-off point in Lithuania. Investigators continue to work with the drone's data.
