The Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on the statement of the EU and some other countries issued in the wake of Belarus' election
28.01.2025
This statement of the European Union about the presidential election in Belarus deliberately distorts the facts and ignores the objective reality in Belarus and the world. The objective reality of recent decades shows that such a stance can only lead to the further deterioration of relations with Belarus. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added: "Continuation and build-up of the sanctions pressure, the deadlock and counterproductiveness of which has long been obvious, will not affect the course chosen by the people of Belarus".
