The meeting of the contact group on Ukraine in Minsk

Today Minsk is playing host to the regular meeting of the contact group that promotes peace settlement in Ukraine. The sessions are to discuss the observance of the earlier agreements on full and comprehensive ceasefire and the withdrawal of armaments. The exchange of prisoners of war is also high on the agenda. At the recent meeting, the parties to the conflict exchanged the lists of the names of the people. According to the OSCE’s special representative Martin Sajdik, the lists are being verified by the sides now.
