The European Union did not release its politicians to Belarus to participate in the congress

Minsk is hosting the II Freedom Congress "For Peace and Development" these days. EU countries have restricted the travel of representatives of political parties from Poland, Germany, Slovakia, and Austria who were on their way to Belarus for the event. Despite this, they still performed during the meeting via video link. More than 100 representatives from the EU, the USA, India, Asia, Russia and the Middle East are taking part in the Congress. The forum was held for the first time last year. At that time the Congress events brought together more than 60 representatives from 13 EU countries and members of the diplomatic corps. His key narratives are time-bound: the development and strengthening of inter-party cooperation, the coordination of common peacekeeping mechanisms.
