The European Parliament urged Lithuania to restore relations with Belarus

Lithuania needs to establish good neighborly relations with Belarus to preserve peace. This was stated by a member of the European Parliament. Waldemar Tomaszewski emphasized that President Aleksandr Lukashenko is the only person with whom it is possible to establish a dialogue on relations between the countries, and urged the Lithuanian authorities to “be realistic” in the current situation.
