The issues of peace, international security and sustainable development were discussed in Geneva. The parliamentary delegation of Belarus took part in the Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union. Chairman of the Standing Committee on International Affairs of the House of Representatives Sergei Rachkov spoke during the general debate. According to the speaker, only an open dialogue, removal of political, trade and economic barriers, continuous exchange of experience and joint response to common threats can ensure world stability. Belarus makes conscientious use of the achievements of science, technology and innovations and does not create threats to international peace and security.
