The agenda of the forthcoming meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State and Foreign Ministers was formed

There is hope that Ukraine will eventually resume full participation in the CIS, Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee, CIS Executive Secretary Sergei Lebedev told the media ahead of the session of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiaries of the CIS member states. “Ukraine is a CIS member de jure,” Sergei Lebedev noted. He expressed hope that the country will eventually resume full participation in this integration association because it “meets the interests of the whole CIS and Ukraine itself.” During the event, the agenda of the forthcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of State and Foreign Ministers to be held on October 10-11 in Sochi, was formed.
