Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Sochi

Today, Sochi is hosting a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The leaders of Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia will discuss the development of integration and the strengthening of cooperation in different areas. As an honored guest at the summit, Moldovan President Igor Dodon will be present. And, perhaps, his country today will be the first to receive an observer status in the EAEU. There are about two dozen questions on the agenda. Cooperation in nuclear energy, digital economy, social policy. Also bilateral meetings will be held. One of the most anticipated talks will be the meeting of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
