St. Petersburg hosts the traditional informal CIS summit

The city on the Neva has been hosting meetings of this level for several years in a row. The heads of the CIS member states exchange views on topical issues of international politics, discuss joint projects and plans for the future. A rich cultural programme has also been prepared for distinguished guests. President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko is also taking part in the summit.
