US partially suspends sanctions against some Belarusian companies

The complete abolition of economic restrictions will contribute to the development of cooperation between Belarus and the United States, Head of the Information Department and Foreign Ministry Press Secretary Dmitry Mironchik said commenting on the partial suspension of US sanctions against some Belarusian companies.
The decision of the United States applies to Belorusneft, Belneftekhim and its US branch, Belshina, Grodno Azot, Grodno Khimvolokno, Lakokraska, Naftan and Polotsk-Steklovolokno.
Besides, the European Union will suspend sanctions against Belarus from 31 October.
