A Belarusian delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs is on a working trip to the DPRK. Today Maxim Ryzhenkov was received by Prime Minister Kim Dok-hun. The parties spoke about the need to intensify bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, health, and agriculture and noted a high level of understanding between the countries on the main issues of the global agenda. The day before, negotiations took place between the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry and his Korean counterpart, co-chairman of the joint commission on trade and economic cooperation, Yun Zhou Ho. Particular attention was paid to food security and mutual supplies of certain goods. Belarus wants to supply its own food and import North Korean cosmetics.
