Sitting of CIS Council of Foreign Ministers summed up in Minsk

Permanent representatives of the Commonwealth of Independent States talked over the advancement of the positive image of the CIS in the international arena. They summed up the sitting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers which was held early April in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). As Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergey Lebedev noted, although not everything has been achieved, positive aspects of the CIS activity should be presented. Humanitarian cooperation and efficient information support of the projects should be accentuated. The project “CIS literature classics” helps to know more about culture and traditions of all CIS countries. 26 volumes have already been published, and the work will go on.
