Session of CIS Plenipotentiaries Council in Minsk

Belarus is ready to take a most active part in the initiatives during Russia’s presidency in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said at a session of the CIS Plenipotentiaries Council in Minsk. On central focus of the meeting was the creation of a common educational space in the CIS and prospects of development of the legal framework as well as the progressive development of the Commonwealth based on deepening and expanding the member-states’ cooperation in economy, science and innovation, humanitarian activity and security.
