Sergei Lebedev to hold mission of CIS observers at parliamentary election in Belarus

The Chair of the CIS Executive Committee Sergey Lebedev will lead the mission observers of the Commonwealth on the election of deputies to the House of Representatives on September 11. His candidacy was agreed today at a meeting of the CIS Council of Permanent Representatives. And today the House has defined the inter-parliamentary organizations for monitoring elections. Invitations will be sent to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the CSTO and the Council of Europe. Earlier, the Foreign Ministry of Belarus has sent an invitation to the OSCE ODIHR.
