Lower house of Parliament to hold second meeting today

Deputies of the lower house of Parliament are to elect the Vice-Speaker and heads of 14 standing committees at today"s second meeting in the Government House"s Oval Hall. Vladimir Andreichenko was for the third time elected Chairman of the House of Representatives at a previous meeting held on Tuesday. Addressing the deputies, Andreichenko pointed out that it is the interests of the people that must be focused on. The implementation of the socio-economic development programme alone involves preparing approximately 50 new bills.
