CIS Heads of State Summit to open in Kyrgyzstan today

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Kyrgyzstan yesterday to take part in the CIS Heads of State Summit scheduled to open today in Bishkek. The agenda includes issues related to economy, security and humanitarian cooperation, special attention to be paid to the adjustment of the CIS to present-day realities. A number of statements, including in view of the 25th anniversary of the CIS, are expected to be adopted.Today has started with the CIS Foreign Minister Council discussing practical measures on the further expansion of multifaceted cooperation between the CIS countries, combating international terrorism and the global drug problem.
