Registration of parliamentary candidates begins in Belarus

The next stage of the parliamentary campaign, registration of parliamentary candidates begins in Belarus today. It will last until October 17. The day before the nomination process completed. So far the Central Election Commission has preliminary statistics. Half of the candidates were nominated by political parties. Just over a quarter of the candidates were nominated through signatures collection, the rest were put forward by labor collectives.
