Prospects for cooperation between Belarus and Pakistan
Belarus views Pakistan as a valuable and reliable partner in South Asia and the Muslim world. This was stated by the head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry after talks with the Foreign Minister of that country. Sergei Aleinik notes that Belarus, like many other countries, is defending its sovereignty and is faced with unlawful pressure of sanctions. Such measures should be abolished as violating the UN Charter. Quote: "Unilateral coercive measures have a serious impact on global food security, which is currently of particular concern. Nevertheless, as the past two years have shown, our country, together with its allies and friends, has been successful in meeting this challenge". The Foreign Minister stressed that most countries are in favor of multipolarity. They are tired of diktat in international relations.
