Belarusian President continues official visit to Azerbaijan

The Belarusian President continues his official visit to Azerbaijan. Alexander Lukashenko is scheduled to hold talks with Azerbaijan"s Prime Minister and visit the famous Heydar Aliyev Centre today. Yesterday, the Belarusian leader met with his Azerbaijani counterpart. Ilham Aliyev awarded Alexander Lukashenko with the Heydar Aliyev Order - the country"s highest award that is rarely presented to foreign nationals. As stressed by Alexander Lukashenko, Azerbaijan can count on Belarus as its close friend. The talks focused on the development of bilateral relations, including trade and cooperation projects, as well as investments, and resulted in the signing of about ten agreements.
