President meets with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus

At the invitation of President Vladimir Putin, Alexander Lukashenko is going to pay his first foreign visit after presidential election to Russia. This was discussed today at a meeting of the Belarusian leader with Ambassador of Russia to Belarus Alexander Surikov. Alexander Lukashenko emphasizes that he is ready for a serious discussion on the theme of Belarusian-Russian relations. The President says, that before the forthcoming meeting with Vladimir Putin it is possible to adjust some areas of bilateral cooperation in order to remove some of alertness. However, he says he does not see any problems here.
