President discusses improvement of electoral system and legislation with chairman of Central Election Commission of Belarus

Improvement of the electoral system and the new composition of the Central Election Commission were the main topics at the meeting of President Alexander Lukashenko with head of the CEC Lidia Yermoshina. On December, 20, the current composition of the Central Election Commission expires. In particular, a proposal for a new composition of the Central Election Commission was presented to the President of Belarus, which was supported by the Head of State. Lidia Yermoshina will head the CEC.
