13.11.2015
President Alexander Lukashenko met with Minister of Defense Andrey Ravkov. The plan to use regional troops of Belarus and Russia was in the center of attention. The main question was whether the document takes into account the changes in the geopolitical situation around the country. This refers to the situation in Ukraine, as well as the strengthening of NATO forces in Western Europe. According to the Minister of Defense, the changing external environment was taken into account as much as possible. The President of Belarus has approved the document for consideration at the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State.
