Belarusian President praises Lithuanian Ambassador's role in developing Belarusian-Lithuanian relations

Belarus will continue developing bilateral cooperation with Lithuania, as announced by President Alexander Lukashenko at yesterday"s meeting with Lithuanian Ambassador Evaldas Ignatavicius, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Belarus. The results of his work have received high accolades from the President.
Lithuania is one of Belarus" leading trade partners, a number of investment projects being implemented with the participation of Lithuanian capital. Vilnius plays a prominent role in the rapprochement of Belarus with the EU.The President said that the two countries had for many years lived in the same state, always finding a way to understanding and a path to follow together.
