President of Belarus meets with EU Special Representative for Human Rights

Belarus and the European Union have overcome their disagreement and are on way to solve bilateral problems. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the meeting with the EU Special Representative for Human Rights. Alexander Lukashenko notes that our country is in favor of a permanent dialogue with the European Union in the field of human rights. Belarus does not criticize Europe for its understanding of the issue under discussion, but has its own view of the subject. A wide range of topics were touched upon at today"s meeting: from the humanitarian sector to trade and investment. The EU Special Representative will also participate in the meetings in the parliament and ministries. Tomorrow Stavros Lambrinidis will take part in the international conference organized by the UN mission in our country in cooperation with the Belarusian Foreign Ministry and in partnership with the European states.
