President Alexander Lukashenko has met with former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma. The politicians held a warm conversation and exchanged gifts, pointing out a friendly nature of the relationship both on a personal level and between the two peoples.27 December will mark the 25th anniversary of Minsk-Kiev diplomatic relations.Alexander Lukashenko and Leonid Kuchma also discussed the current state and prospects if Belarus-Ukraine relations and the activities of the Contact Group on Ukraine in Minsk.
