Belarusian President meets with WHO Regional Director for Europe

Equal access to health care facilities is provided in Belarus, as stated by the President at today"s meeting with WHO Regional Director for Europe Zsuzsanna Jakab. Alexander Lukashenko has invited Zsuzsanna Jakab and WHO experts to familiarise themselves with innovations introduced in the country.
The rates of maternal mortality, birth and infant death are under government control.In turn, Zsuzsanna Jakab pointed out WHO member states" interest in Belarus" experience in the health care sector. She thanked the President for the opportunity to hold a ministerial conference in Belarus and noted the high level of the participants" representation.
