Belarusian President meets with Prince Michael of Kent

The President of Belarus expressed hope for opening a new page in relations between Belarus and the United Kingdom at a meeting with Prince Michael of Kent, a member of the British Royal Family.Trade cooperation is of the greatest interest. As of last year, the UK ranked third among Belarus" trade partners, the first and second places belonging to Russia and Ukraine respectively. Belarus" exports amounted to almost 3 billion dollars, while imports stood at just 176 million. Belarus is home to more than 400 enterprises with British capital. Last year, the amount of British investments made up about 2.5 billion dollars.
