President of Belarus meets with member of British royal family

President of Belarus has met with British Prince Michael of Kent. This is the first ever official meeting of Alexander Lukashenko with the representative of the British royal family. The Head of State expects to open a new page in the relations between Belarus and the United Kingdom. The Prince has agreed on the need to develop and improve the Belarusian-British trade relations. Last year, Britain took the third place among the partners of Belarus after Russia and Ukraine. The amount of mutual trade exceeded three billion dollars. British investors are actively investing in Belarus. Last year investments into our economy amounted to more than two billion dollars.
