President of Belarus approves of decision on protection of state border in 2016

The procedure of crossing the state border of Belarus will be simplified only on the basis of respect for national interests. The Head of State stated this at the meeting on the occasion of the approval of the decision on the protection of the state border. This decision is made each year. But in view of the changing situation in Europe it addresses a wide range of issues today. The decision deals with the migration policy, the transit of goods through Belarus, the situation in the neighboring countries and in the Middle East. The President also instructed to study the effectiveness of the protection of economic interests of the country and outlined the position of Belarus in connection with a change in the rules of trade between Ukraine, the EU and Russia.
