President of Belarus and First Vice President of Council of State of Cuba discuss entire spectrum of bilateral relations

Belarus and Cuba are ready to make a new step in the development of bilateral relations. Cooperation prospects were discussed at the meeting of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko with First Vice President of the Council of State of Cuba Miguel Mario Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. Alexander Lukashenko drew attention to the fact that in recent years there was an increase in trade turnover between the two countries and in trade and economic cooperation as a whole. The Cuban side hopes that Belarus will become an important player in the social and infrastructure development of the country. After meeting with the President, the Cuban delegation went to the Minsk Automobile Plant. The First Vice President says that in the near future an assembly production of MAZ equipment may be opened in Cuba.
